Project Management by Engi Group Ltd Construction Management by Engi Group Ltd Masonry by Aussie Masonry Ltd Roofing by PeakLine Construction This was a classic building envelope failure of the original full depth Rundle Stone cladding at WorldMark Resort in Canmore. Water had penetrated the building envelope due to improper flashing at the upper parapet wall causing roof run off to be directed in behind the Rundle Stone cladding, eroding and breaking down the rock mortar over many years. Eventually the rock itself began to let loose from the wall, posing danger to occupants below. Effected mortar joints were fully inspected and all existing rock which was suspect was removed back to sound mortar, all the way down to the base footing. Work was completed during peak hotel operation, systems were put into place to maintain guest traffic flow with minimal noise disruption from the construction site.
